It’s finally here, reveal day in the 6 week design challenge, otherwise known as One Room Challenge, hosted by Linda from Calling it Home.
What’s the big prize for participating in ORC? A finished room in 6 weeks and the opportunity to participate and share the experience of completing a room with talented designers and bloggers that enjoy interior design! Yes, that’s right the sleepless nights and craziness that surrounds ORC doesn’t have a winner or a grand prize.
A special thanks to Linda, the talented Ariana Clare that photographed my Glam Office in the midst of my chaotic schedule, and all of my cheerleaders from Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and of course your wonderful comments!

In week 1 I introduced you to my current event design office known as Sarah Sofia Productions, AKA SSP Headquarters, and laid out my plan for transforming my unfinished office
to a glam one fit to inspire all my event design and planning!
While I didn’t get my luxe glam faux bamboo desk or coral chair I love my DIY gold leaf Ikea hack desk and marble Ikea hack shelves. After almost a year I finally finished the coral campaign piece I found at our local Habitat for Humanity Restore! My favorite DIY décor item is by far my SSP (Sarah Sofia Productions) marque light letters!
My office is filled with mementoes from my life such as hand written notes from when I was an Aide to a former US Senator, a pen that the former Governor of Ohio used to sign one of my bills into law, a framed poster of London at night, where I studied abroad my junior year at Davidson College, pictures from our wedding and our children (furry guy included), party and event décor, floral “frogs” used as photo stands, and photography from my late grandfather Sam Ryburn Sr.
While this Glam office isn’t perfect, it is mine and a work in progress as I continue to be inspired as an event designer and planner.
