Fairies, Unicorns and Rainbows Oh My! This might be one of my favorite parties to plan and design to date!
I’ve been busy planning this kids party for the last few weeks, and there is so much creativity when it comes to fairies, unicorns and rainbows! While this one is specifically tailored for a girl with pastel color theme, fairies and rainbows are also fun ideas to incorporate into a boy’s party too with more traditional colors.
All you need is faith, trust and a little bit of Pixie Dust! I love this quote from Tinker Bell in Peter Pan because it’s not only whimsical but also has a great message for kids.
One of my favorite parts of planning and designing is the décor! You don’t have to spend a lot of money or have tons of décor to make it pop. Sometimes simple décor that coordinates stands out! How fun is this unicorn and floral wreath over the dessert bar?
When it comes to the food, I suggest choosing 3-5 different sweet options for guests and 1-2 savory options. Dessert bars aren’t going away, and if you’re looking for fun new trends check out my post here for inspiration. Coordinating the food with your theme pulls the look together such as these fun and cute unicorn cookies!
Don’t have a large budget for custom cookies? Make them yourself with this sugar cookie recipe here and use any kind of cookie cutter found at your local craft store or online to make it fit your theme!
The invitation is always my first decision when making a purchase because it is the first thing guests will see before attending the party. Jacqui Evans with Tweet Printables helped me design this custom invitation to fit our fairies, unicorns and rainbows themed party!
