Last week this Paontone Pastel Inspired Wedding was featured on Wedding Chicks! Today, we’re sharing the big wedding reveal with all the details and photos!
This beautiful pastel wedding has us singing “we’re goin’ to the chapel of LOVE”! From the fun loving couple, colorful bridesmaid dresses, beautiful table top design, trending food and drink bars with fun signs, and stunning wedding cake this wedding has it all!
This spring and summer inspired wedding has Pantone’s 2016 colors of the year rose quartz and serenity blue along with Pantone’s spring/summer colors Buttercup, Peach Echo and Iced Coffee. The pastel color pallet is feminine and modern and fits several different styles.
The Historic N.S. Alexander Homestead is a beautiful wedding and reception venue, located just minutes from the heart of Charlotte, NC. From the beautiful 1903 Victorian home, to the breath taking gardens and rustic-elegant dairy barn it is the perfect mix of rustic, vintage and elegant for today’s modern bride and grooms.
Farm tables, vintage violent china, and gold chiavari chairs play up the eclectic and beautiful venue, and provide a unique setting. The design is inspired by various styles, such as rustic, vintage glam, and modern chic to complete the couple’s signature look!
Mixing and matching styles continue to be on trend and allow brides and grooms to make their wedding day unique and memorable!
Succulents, glass filled flower boxes, over flowing blooms, vintage candle holders, and votive candles line tables making it feel intimate and romantic! Again mixing modern with vintage to create the eclectic design.
An easy DIY to personalize the bride and groom’s seating is to add colored ribbon and Mr. and Mrs. signs to the back of their chairs. It adds texture and interest to the overall design.
Naked cakes that are decorated on the top or sides with flowers and fruit are trending in 2016 with the emphasis on less is more! However, the new naked cake is the dirty iced cake and dripped cakes are also hot. Instead of having to choose just one, Edible Art Cake Shop designed a custom dirty iced dripped cake with dripped caramel on the sides and top, adding flowers in the wedding colors for a pop of color.
Brides and Grooms want to personalize their wedding and make it an experience. Since this is a southern wedding, these personalized Mason Jars with Cheers Y’all from Shutterfly provide a fun beer bar and also serve as wedding favor.
The mason jars also coordinate with the personalized cocktail napkins with gold foil and the Cheers Y’all gold sign at the bubbly bar.
Calligraphy isn’t just for invitations anymore! The custom calligraphy signs for the popcorn and bubbly bar by LJ Designs add a fun loving element that you get from the couple!
Playing on the dripped cake, the custom popcorn from SugarPop’s Candy Store had dripped chocolate and caramel and was oh so good! Guests could enjoy a bag of popcorn or take it to go as wedding favor in these cute personalized popcorn bags by Laguna Collection.
Speaking of invitations, I love how this custom wedding invitation suite turned out by The Olive Paper! The Save the Date and invitation set the tone for the wedding by giving guests a sneak peek of what’s to come. The invitation suite showcases coordinating wedding colors with a custom watercolor design and beautiful unique font.
Instead of a boring champagne bar why not pair with cotton candy and make a signature cotton candy champagne cocktail for your guests to enjoy!
Everyone had so much fun feeling like a kid again and walking around with the cotton candy Champagne cocktail. You could pick from Strawberry Cream, grape, blueberry, and strawberry, which also coordinated with the wedding colors.
Chocolate chip cookies and milk are always a hit with children and adults. Instead of a huge dessert bar, mini versions were served after dinner at a cookies and milk bar with the couples initials that A+C that also coordinated with the personalized popcorn bags.
One of my favorite designer dress boutiques is Lula Kate for their fun colors and unique designs. Gone are the days that you bridesmaids have to be in the same exact boring dress. I love how the four bridesmaid dresses coordinate with the colors of the wedding and very in style.
The designer bridal gown from Hayden Olivia Bridal was a perfect fit for this wedding with the blush tulle and beaded top. Simple but elegant is the modern bride without a long traditional train. When you step into that bridal gown you should feel like a princess and it shows with Amanda!
Gone are the days where grooms only option is a tuxedo. Since the wedding is a mix of rustic, vintage and modern the groom opted for 3 piece linen suit that coordinate with the wedding colors. The dress shoes are worn without socks, which is a trend in men’s fashion for a more relaxed and modern look.
Did I mention how fun loving this couple is? Your personality should shine through on your wedding! From the dress, wedding cake, flowers, first dance, to the food, it should reflect your tastes.
While this wasn’t their actual wedding day, Amanda and Corey are a real life couple, who just got engaged, which made this styled shoot even more fun! You can’t help but smile when around them.
