Hard to believe One Room Challenge (ORC) is here again hosted by Linda from Calling It Home!
This spring will be our 7th ORC, and 8th & 9th rooms, which we started last fall but for the first time didn’t finish in the 6 weeks. Thus, we’re coming back strong this spring to finish our guest bath and master bath refresh.
Here are 7 ORC’s room’s to date:
Big Girl Room #2 Coral and Robins Egg Blue
This round will be challenging just like last fall, as I will be out of town the first 2 weeks of the 6. However, it wouldn’t be a challenge without some real life obstacles!

My style is bright, coastal, and blue and white! This New England Powder Room with shiplap is inspiring me for the guest bath.
Here are my two inspiration boards from last ORC that are still serving as my inspiration for this ORC round:
As you can see from my inspiration board I’m going with brass and nickel brushed mix hardware, which has a coastal yet glam look, adding a little rustic with the shiplap removable wallpaper. You can shop my inspiration here:
Here’s where we left off last ORC’s round:
The guest bath got the new sink, shower head and matching faucet in bathtub installed! However, you’ll notice the duct tape and temporary structure in the guest bathtub, which was suppose to be temporary, has been there since late October. We still need to install new tile in this shower/bath tub.
If you’re following my insta stories then you know I found the perfect mirror and faux wood planked wood removable wall paper and installed both recently in the guest bath.
I’ve been waiting a month for the handyman, who is scheduled to come next Tuesday, to install the wall scones. I will show you more photos next week!
The master bath got the new white and modern toilet installed in fall ORC! I also switched out the hardware on the cabinets. However, that’s about all that I was able to accomplish.
To Do List:
