Wedding season is in full swing and we’re giving you some great inspiration today for a Modern Romance fall wedding! The inspirtation for this wedding is to incorporate current trends with romantic touches. Each detail will seem effortless from the lantern lined isle to vintage key place holders.
I love the idea of using purples, pinks, and blues in a wedding. It is so girly and the colors look beautiful together. All the decor, flowers and even apparel can play off of these colors. Be sure to have plenty of candle light in both the ceremony and reception spaces for added romance and intimacy. Lining the isle with lanterns and a garland of natural wood and greenery and placing tealights around the reception space are great ways to add detail and ambiance. Keep the ceremony and reception spaces fresh with an abundance of hydrangeas, white and purple roses, peonies, and various greenery including succulents.
I am also loving textured linens. Use sequined linens to make a statement with the cake table or during cocktail hour and save the more traditional items for the guests tables.
For a more modern feel have an unconventional seating plan for the reception. I love the new trend of having a large rectangular bridal party table down the middle of the venue and then the guests at round tables on either side. This way the bridal party is the center of attention. Add a floral table runner as your centerpiece for the center table, which will wow your guests!
Don’t forget your signature drink! Pop Fizz Clink sign would be fun for a mimosa bar at cocktail hour or a blueberry Mojito that was served up in style at Ritchie Hill. For more wedding inspiration from Ritchie check out my post here.
Today’s Modern Romantic wedding is all in the details! You want the venue, the wedding and guests to look and feel special.
Happy Wedding Wednesday!
