Wedding season is in full swing as we enter mid summer and I’m loving this modern rustic summer wedding inspiration! How fun is a rustic summer wedding with a modern twist?
Today’s couples want their wedding ceremonies and receptions to reflect their personality from the décor, to the wedding attire, to the food to the music. They want their wedding to be a unique experience with personal touches. It’s all in the details!
This rustic, yet modern wedding showcases the trending neutral color pallet, clean lines, and earth-tone embellishments. Both the ceremony and reception have minimal décor only using two kinds of flowers, baby’s breath and old English ivy, accented by lanterns and small candles.
White curtains draped over a wooden structure and lined with ivy provides a clean modern look. Tin metal buckets are used as decor for the ceremony aisle, while others are creatively used for serving dishes evoking a simple rustic feel for the décor.
A popular trend for modern weddings is lining multiple farm tables together for one large seating arrangement. For this look, dining al fresco is a popular choice. Tables are often uncovered or simply adorned with a vintage lace runner. This look adds a different visual than your typical round wedding reception tables, making your guests feel like they’re dinning at an intimate dinner party.
Modern mix matched china and ivy lines the tables, along with centerpieces composed of wooden sticks submerged in water vases and floating candles. Not only do the centerpieces give a romantic rustic feel, but continue the clean lines and modern neutral color pallet.
