We’re excited to share this Networking Summer Soiree with Kendra Scott that we hosted with April Robson from A Liz Adventures back in July! We had a great turn out for our Summer Soiree, which was full of shopping, sips, and small bites!
Kendra Scott, based in Austin, TX, recently opened it’s doors in Charlotte and offers private party services at their color bar, where you can design your own jewelry while sipping bubbly and enjoy sweets. 
I thought it would be a great idea to showcase Kendra Scott’s color bar along with the wedding and event industry services for our next networking event and include brides, professionals, creative, and bloggers. I knew April with A Liz Adventures would be a great co-host as a well established professional and blogger in Charlotte, who is so warm and gracious!
First step was getting Hey Sugar Shop on board to provide one of kind sweets, like logo sugar cookies, carrot cake truffles and praline cookies. Not only do these sweets look beautiful and unique they are out of this world delicious!
I have been wanting to work with Maiden Flower Crowns and was thrilled that they were able to be a part of this event! Flower Crowns are hot trends for brides, bridesmaids, flower girls, and even parties! I can’t wait until my girls are a little older to have a flower crown making party.
Another great wedding vendor I enjoy working with and personally use for my hair styling needs is Gorgeous Glo. Not only can you get your hair cut, colored, and blown out at Gorgeous Glo but you can get face and body spray tans! Perfect one stop shop for all your bridal party needs and addition to our Summer Soiree!
Aveda was a hit with their hand and neck massages and make up artist ready to make us all relaxed and pretty!
I love sending guests away with something to remember their experience. For our Summer Soiree I wanted to tie in weddings, events, and the home with giveaways from New South Home Couture, Lory Cobb Interiors, and Brenna with Dometic Charm.
I met Melissa and Taylor of New South Home Couture through Mallory, Style Your Senses, and loved their personalities and their home décor line! Their custom monogram pillows are perfect for anyone starting out a home together or updating their home!
Lory Cobb, with Lory Cobb Interiors, is an upcoming interior designer in Charlotte. I love her style, knowledge of products and designers. I am honored to call her one of my closest friends here in Charlotte!
I met Brenna Morgan with Domestic Charm during One Room Challenge in Spring 2015. Brenna is an interior designer who also refinishes and paints furniture. We become fast friends and I was excited to include her in our Summer Soiree, where she launched her new product, design in a box. One lucky guest won the giveaway and went home with design in a box and Brenna was able to network and meet potential clients.
It’s all in the details… from the one of kind designed logo sugar cookies, Kendra Scott Kooizes as party favors, and event design with beautiful printables from LJ Design Co. it was one fun night to sip, shop and mingle!
Kendra Scott and the Junior League of Charlotte (JLC) partnered up in June for Kendra Scott’s grand opening, where Kendra Scott gave a portion to each sale to JLC, which is one of Charlotte’s oldest non profits.

I love meeting new people and collaborating, especially when events bring people together to celebrate in style! It was especially fun to see April, A Liz Adventures, and Lory, Lory Cobb Interiors, who were high school friends, see each other again after many years!
A special thanks to my two assistants, Lauren and Jana, who have been incredibly helpful over the last few months! We will miss you as you embark on new adventures!
I have to say I love Kendra Scott Designs and came away with a few new pieces from Mystic Bazaar collection, such as Rose Gold Everly Long Necklace in Iridescent Peach that I’m wearing in the above picture, Rayne Necklace in Coral , and Elle Earrings in Mint.
