DIY Halloween Hayride Party Ideas
Fall is one of my favorite times of year because of all the outdoor activities and of course Halloween! We had a ball planning, coordinating, and designing this Halloween Costume Hayride Party and most importantly the kids had a ball!
Choose an invitation that coordinates with your theme. Shutterfly’s costume hayride party invitation is perfect for a kids Halloween Hayride Party!
Personalize Your Halloween Party with A Custom Invitation and Decor
When designing any party I try to be creative and coordinate the invitation with the theme and/or colors. Not only did Shutterfly get my creative juices flowing with their Halloween invitation, but they have fun treat bag stickers with kids dressed up in Halloween costumes! Personalize napkins for a custom look, such as the Trick or Treat cocktail napkins.
Be Creative When Planning A Halloween Party
Kids parties are one of my favorites to design because you can be so creative and out of the box with the design! Kids also need a fun activity to keep them entertained. Again, playing off the Halloween Hayride Costume invitation, kids ran around the pumpkin patch and had a Halloween costume hayride at Hunter Farms.
Halloween Party Activities and Games for Kids
Be creative with kids party games and play find the colored pumpkin. The first one to find the colored pumpkin wins a prize! Pumpkin picking is one of our favorite fall family fun activities, and was perfect entertainment for these little trick or treaters!
Halloween Treats That Everyone Will Love
Be creative in what food you serve to fit your theme. Serve festive Halloween treats that are sweet and savory. Follow the rule of thumb that you make a few food items and pair with a few store bought items. Let kids serve themselves with easy finger foods and candy scoopers.
Halloween Table Setting Decor That’s Kid Friendly
Kids love to explore and touch EVERYTHING! So why not have fun items that won’t break, for your table décor. Let the experience be interactive with decor that has sound and moves. Most importantly, let kids be kids! Don’t try to get every photo with kids posed and looking at the camera, but rather doing what kids do best, exploring and enjoying the party. Candid photos always make the best memories!
