Merry and Bright Christmas Décor Home Tour

Christmas is truly a magically time of year, especially when you see it through children’s eyes!

This year we invested in a new Christmas tree from Michael’s, and we couldn’t be happier! My rule of thumb is usually to buy one big new Christmas item a year, a few small ones like ornaments and add to our collection.

I’m loving Pottery Barn Kids ornaments and wooden signs this year, especially their garland choices like this Oh What Fun garland!

Buffalo check and red plaid continue to be hot trends into the Christmas season. I couldn’t resist this tree skirt from Pottery Barn Kids and adding our family name to it!

Target is another favorite of mine that is has colorful boxes, white gilded feather ornaments, fun snowmen, and old fashion skies and sled to hang on your tree or wall.

As soon as I saw the large Baby It’s Cold Outside wooden sign in Home Goods back in early November, I knew it would be perfect for our home!

This year we decided to place our main Christmas tree in our living room, which just got a refresh in a design challenge, One Room Challenge. One of my favorite new pieces in our living room is this vintage gold bar cart! It has been used several times already since my big purchase this fall and is perfect to serve holiday cocktails and hot coco for our friends and family.
