The weather outside might be warm and delightful, but Christmas is less than two weeks way! In the beginning of December we shared out Christmas décor in our new living room.
Today, we’re sharing Christmas décor in the front of our home.
The front entryway is always one of my favorite spaces to decorate because it’s the first thing your guests see when they enter your home!
I always have floral arrangement on the table console in the front entryway that changes with the season.
I also enjoy mixing and matching highs and lows and different styles. This look is a little traditional with the red tartan plaid ornaments displayed in the glass vase, a little whimsical with the elf, and a little modern and chic with gold pom pom wreath!
I gold and pop of red really stands out, especially adding the two red ponseitta plants at the bottom. I let you on a little secret, this year I decided to buy faux poinsettias Michael’s since I had to have everything decorated in November, and it was one of my favorite buys! Plus if you’re like me, I buy poinsettias every year and always have to run interference that no kids accidently take a leaf off and eat it.
The front entryway is also a window into your home. I love how you can see our sparkling Christmas tree and bar cart in our living from the front entryway!
Just like your front entryway, the front of your house will be the first thing people see. Your décor doesn’t have to be fancy or big to make a large impact.
I have gotten the most use out of my white and black lanterns from Ikea! I use them both for my front porch and back deck area year round. To make it more festive I simply added garland to banisters.
This year we added this small blow up Santa Claus, and the kids love him! I also took the HOPE marquee light I used last year by our fireplace and placed it this year outside. I also just bought one string of lights for the banister to make our front porch sparkle more at night! Just like our indoor Christmas décor, we try to keep it simple and add one major piece a year.
