Fall will officially be here next week!
Yes, you heard that right, next week, not the beginning of August when some people were surprised they couldn’t find real pumpkins anywhere.
If you’re like me, I like to ease into each season and enjoy the moment rather than rush through to the next big holiday or season.
One of my favorite things about fall is the cooler mornings and nights, and being able to open the windows and doors again!
Adding new pillows can be an easy transition into any season. I love my outdoor/indoor pillows, some I can simply reverse the side to change it up.
Don’t be afraid to step out of the traditional fall colors! Try mixing metalics like I did in the table runner and silver candlestick holders with pink, purple and darker blues.
Instead of pumpkins and tradition orange and yellow colors, I used these beautiful pink fringed tulips and blue and white and purple and green hydrangeas to create a colorful fall floral arrangement.
I’m loving the Calluna Heather flowers I found, which add a pop of purple! I left them in the paper containers as it adds a rustic farm house look to it.
These flowers not only make a wonderful addition to your tablescape, but can also serve as a gift to your guests when entertaining! What’s even better, these flowers are both indoor and outdoor, and can be planted out in the garden after flowering!
I love blue, but for fall I wanted a subtle look so I opted for teal blue linen napkins and high ball blue glasses.
I wanted keep a little blue and add some purple, so I mixed my Villerory & Boch Mariposa China with my great grandmother’s Limogas violet china made in France. I love how the gold trim pops on the violet china, and pulls the look together from the silver and gold in the table runner.
