It’s Week 2 of our 6th One Room Challenge and our 8th and 9th rooms!
In Week 1, we had our coastal blue and white bath inspiration for the guest bath/powder room/girls bathroom and our master bath refresh!
This week we got down to business making final decisions on hardware and removable wallpaper, which are the most important items for both bathrooms. We started with the guest bath as this is the one that needs immediate updates and is used by our guests and our two young daughters.
As you can see from my inspiration board I’m going with brass and nickel brushed mix hardware, which has a coastal yet glam look, adding a little rustic with the shiplap removable wallpaper. You can shop my inspiration here:
Last week I talked about how I wanted to remove the large wall to wall mirror in both our master bath and guest bath. However, I also talked about how love some of the top luxe bathrooms from 2015 that kept it, like this one.
I’d love to add shiplap removable wallpaper on the side wall and/or against the back wall if we decided to remove the mirror altogether and by two separate mirrors. We’ve had our Pottery Barn monogramed towels since our wedding over 7 years ago, and they’ve held up pretty well. However, I want to purchase a few new ones to replace the ones that are getting torn.

I can’t believe you are taking on both bathrooms at once. But what a joy it will be to have them both looking fresh! Oh, and I love the idea of mixing metals in the guest bath.
