It’s week 5 of One Room Challenge Bathroom Refresh hosted by Linda from Calling It Home, which means we have one more week until the big reveal!
If you’re just joining us you can get caught up here: Week 1| Week 2| Week 3| Week 4|
As a refresher, week 1 I provided you with our plan, inspiration boards, and some inspiration on how we are going to refresh our guest bath and master bath. This was also when we decided the guest bath isn’t just going to be refreshed but updated with new tile for shower/bath tub!
Week 2 I provided you my progress, including photos of wallpaper, bathroom fixtures, and hardware including new white toilet in master. We also found beautiful gold pulls for the drawers instead of using the original one from our mood board (3).
Week 3 I made progress in picking out new brass pulls for the cabinets and drawers, scheduling the tile guy and having The English Handyman install most of the fixtures in each bathroom.
Week 4, as many of you know, we had delays, which has become a theme of refreshing these bathrooms. We are still going to retile our master shower, but due to tile being out of stock and time, we’ll have to wait a few weeks after the big reveal to finish. We did manage to paint the cabinets in both bathrooms ourselves, pick out some fun bathroom accessories, and new rugs!
This week was crunch time as everything had to be completed in order to have a professional photographer take photos of the bathrooms for the big reveal next week.
The guest bath shower/bath tub was demolished and re-tiled and wall sconces were installed.
We enjoyed sourcing wall art and other bath accessories this week. If you’ve been following us you might remember these French vintage coastal prints for our Living Room Refresh for ORC a few round ago?
Well I found indigo sea life prints from BelleMerGraphics, that are perfect for our master bathroom!
If you’ve been following our insta stories on Instagram you saw that we made a quick trip to IKEA today to purchase 4 white picture frames for our beautiful coastal prints.
I purchased two Herringbone Peshtemal Hand Towels for the guest bath from Olive and Linen, which also make great Mother’s Day gifts! You can get 30% your entire order + free shipping using discount code MOMS30! For more Mother’s Day Gift ideas check out our guide here.
