We’re excited to share simple fall decorating tips using pastel painted pumpkins!
Pastel colored pumpkins continue to trend this year. We painted and stenciled faux and real pumpkins this week and easily styled them two different ways.
If you follow Sarah Sofia Productions on Instagram, then you’ve seen my stories this week of the process.
First pick a festive table runner. I used a white linen with gold that I already owned, but I also enjoy using craft paper.
Since this tablescape is pastel colored I used one stenciled pumpkin for the center and designed around it using the various pumpkins, alternating colors, sizes and type of pumpkins.
I added pastel plates, cutlery, and napkins. I found these pastel doilies on sale that add another layer and texture. Finish the look with some colorful candles.
I was able to style our mantle and fireplace in five minutes using all the colorful painted pumpkins.
I kept the succulents to anchor each end of the mantle and added a few larger white pumpkins to fill in the space. I also added blue sticks for a pop of color.
Other easy fall decor touches include the mini faux white pumpkins in the blue glass bowl on the coffee table. I bought them last year and simply pull out of storage to reuse each fall season. Another tip is to add greenery and display them in a glass vase like I did on the console table behind the sofa.
