This year I’ve decided to add minimal Christmas decor to create an elegant yet whimsical feel in our home.
First tip to any decorating is to shop your own home first and then buy a few new decor pieces to create a fresh look.
Another tip is to look through magazines and stores to see what’s new and trending. The add one or two elements into your design.
You might recognize the magnolia leaf wreath I refreshed last year by simply adding gold leaf to some of the leaves. The Pink and gold nutcrackers were new last year and are perfect for this metallic and pastel themed mantle.
I found light weight gold leaf magnolia garland 50% off at Michaels before Thanksgiving and added it the mantle using clear hooks. I love the look with just the magnolia garland but found the mini bell garland, which pulls the look together!
I carried the pastel pinks and blues with metallic in our Christmas tree this year as well as coffee table. You can simply add gold foil to your ornaments for glam vintage look!
