How To Create A Haunted Mansion Halloween Party on a Budget?
We found most of the Halloween decor from the Dollar Tree, a few from our Amazon store to create this Haunted Mansion Halloween Party on a Budget! Haunted Mansion has been my favorite ride since I was a young child. No better way to celebrate Halloween than to create an easy DIY Haunted Mansion Halloween Party On A Budget!
If you’ve been following me on TikTok then you know I’ve shopped Dollar Tree with this Haunted Mansion Party in mind. I also shopped Walmart, Michael’s and Target Dollar Spot for budget friendly Halloween decor.
Welcome Foolish Mortals:
As soon as I found this welcome sign at the Dollar Tree I knew it would be perfect for the Halloween Haunted Mansion Party! It’s reversible with Trick or Treat on the other side. I also found this skeleton dog at the Dollar Tree. An easy DIY is to add purple and green food coloring to water and pour it into glass bottles to make them look realistic.
The DIY backdrop is easy with Dollar Tree black cloth, bats, and peel & stick Happy Haunting from Michael’s. Add fairy lights to your spooky bar or tablescape.
This would be great backdrop for a Spooky Brew Bar, like the one we did for our Hocus Pocus Party. The creepy white and black cloths are from Dollar Tree and an easy DIY to hang them from the ceiling and drape them on buffet. I added 3D bats to the ceiling and witches hats, which you can find here. Check out Sarah Sofia Productions Amazon Storefront for more Halloween Decor here.

Almost all the table top decor is from Dollar Tree, including these festive Haunted House plates, purple skeleton hand cups, light up black skulls, larger skulls, styrofoam black pumpkins, spider web, and black spider web overlay.
I had these gold chargers already and ready to serve silverware set from Tableluxe. The light up lanterns I found at Michaels along with spooky Venus Flytrap on sale.
Walmart has always had creative and easy DIY Halloween Treat kits. This year I found a brownie tombstone kit and they turned out perfect! Check out more Halloween Treat Ideas in Pumpkin Carving Party.
Don’t forget to shop your home!
I pulled out these Pottery Barn Kids black faux candelabras that I’ve had for years since our Halloween Costume Hayride Party. The flames are broken, but are a perfect fit for a Haunted Mansion look. The crystal ball is another decor piece from my Hocus Pocus Party and Bring On Halloween a few years ago. It’s motion activated with spooky sounds and changing lights.
Add a few backdrop vignettes to immerse your guests in the Haunted Mansion Party. How cool are these Dollar Tree ghost changing portraits? You feel like you’re actually in the Haunted Mansion! Dress up a few skeletons and have them greet guests as they enter.
