What You Need to Make These Easy Christmas Light Balls
You only need a few supplies that you can find at the Dollar Tree, Walmart or your local hardware store.
- 200 Light Strand per medium size ball
- 2×4 Hexagon sheet mesh aka chicken wire
- Wire pillars or pair scissors to cut the wire
- Gloves to protect your hands
- Green zip ties
How To Make Christmas Light Balls in 5 Easy Steps
First step is to cut the hexagon sheet mes roll into 2×4 using wire pillars or a pair of scissors.
With gloves to protect your hands, connect the sides of the hexagon 2×4 wire into each other using their bases.
Bunch the open end of cylinder down about 6 inches by holding one end while you take in corners. Do this all the way around.
Step on the bottom to help hold it’s shape. Repeat bunching on the other side of the cylinder.
Final step is to connect two string of lights togther and string light strand through wire ball by weaving the strand in and out of hexagons. Make sure to leave enough length in the light strand to hang and plug into power source.
