In full disclosure being gone 8 days for spring break has set me back. I’m still trying to find a glass and mirror company in Charlotte that is able to cut beveled glass for non straight edges without shipping it out and a hefty price tag.

… Read moreJust like my daughter Sofia’s first birthday party, the inspiration for Charlotte’s Elephants Coral and Robin’s Egg Blue birthday party came from her nursery. The theme centered on the colors of her nursery, robin’s egg blue quatrefoil stenciled walls, and the wall art of a robin’s egg blue elephant with coral quatrefoil in the background.

Coral and blue were our wedding colors and I’ve wanted to decorate a room in these colors for sometime. We recently moved into a new home and with the arrival of our second daughter any day I finally have a room I can decorate in coral and robin’s egg blue!
Besides my love of the colors, my inspiration for this room stemmed from the coral sculpture that is displayed on the dresser, a mixture of girl nursery’s on Project Nursery, Rabat Allover wall Stencil, and the floral yet whimsical rug that ties both the coral and blue together.
